In 2019 I turn my photography hobby into my 3rd age profession.
It began with a non-photography purchase of a 21' campervan. With this purchase I embarked on photo expeditions to the American West, Alaska, Canada, the Pacific Northwest, to name a few. The time on the road and the access to exciting locations provide time and opportunity to hone my photographic skills.
In 2021 I put my new skills to the test of competition and won the Glacier National Park Conservancy Photo Contest. I continue to enter and receive recognition for my landscape photography (see my Accolades page for a portfolio photos).
In 2023 I added Sports, Event and Portrait photography to my wheelhouse as a Lifetouch Sports and Candid Photographer. In this role I have been fortunate to take some amazing pictures of athletes, musicians and students at the high school and middle school level in the Maryland and Virginia areas.
